QUO VADIS DAYS

WHERE ARE YOU GOING?

Calling Young Men – Ages 14-19

Betania II Retreat Center, Medway, MA

Where are you going? Tradition tells us that St. Peter asked Jesus this very question on the outskirts of Rome. We know where Jesus went in response to His Father’s will. WHERE ARE YOU GOING?

The Lord in His love has a great and wonderful plan for you. Jesus’ plan for some men is to be one of His priests. The priesthood is an indispensable, awesome and beautiful mission. Many of the Church’s greatest saints have been priests. Even though Jesus continues to call young men to this life, sometimes the world we live in makes it difficult to hear His call.

The annual Quo Vadis retreat is a time of recreation, fellowship, prayer and discussion to help young men explore our Lord’s call.  Each year, young men from around our diocese gather for a week long retreat at the Betania II Retreat Center in Medway, where priests and seminarians of our diocese will be there providing conferences, spiritual guidance and fraternity.

Activities include prayer (Holy Mass, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Liturgy of the Hours, Rosary, etc.).  There is hiking, swimming, and other sports including flag football, soccer, and ultimate Frisbee. There will also be talks, great food and discussions.
